Hey Goooodmen! This is Suke.
Look, look! I went to Dotonbori!
6p cheese set up in that place, that guy must be amazing!
Those kushikatsu were so good!
The main theme is this.
‘I want to do something charitable that will benefit children.’
At this age, you think about your future, the politics and economy of your country, and many other things, but the one thing we all say together is the future of our children and whether Japan will be safe then.
In the current gloomy atmosphere of Japan, where economic stall, political distrust, military threats, and the tendency to screw over opponents with logic or expose and drag them down has become popular, I would like to contribute in some way so that the children who will carry the future can grow up with bright hopes.
There are many ways to contribute, and I have been thinking all week about what kind of contribution would be best.
Then I saw Messi interacting with the children in the audience at this year’s World Cup on TV, and I was struck by that.
I thought that it is very nice to be able to inspire people, to give them courage, and to give them dreams. It is one of the few lasting and hopeful gifts that adults can offer to children to make them feel positive.
But I couldn’t become a soccer player and participate in the World Cup now, so I wondered what I could do.
Then I remembered one thing. It is that I was exposed to as a child and that still sustains me today, that still makes me happy and emotional, that still enriches me, and that still heals my wounded heart.
Yes, it is music.
If it is music, we who are doing it are having fun, everyone is happy, and we can share the excitement, courage, and dreams together. It is a wonderful activity, isn’t it?
Fortunately, by coincidence, we also talked about the idea of playing music together with the Goooodmen.
In 2023, I hope to do my best to advance this activity as much as possible!
Have a great week!
See you next weekend!
